The person behind the lens
I'm Scott Takai, a Los Angeles–based video producer and content strategist with over a decade of experience helping brands tell stories that drive real results. I'm the founder of Takai Media, through which I've spent 11 years producing content and leading campaigns for brands, agencies, and entrepreneurs.
I grew up in LA and picked up a camera to film my friends skateboarding — and never put it down. What started as skate videos as a creative hobby, turned into a career creating content helping brands grow their revenue and credibility.
My work has helped clients raise over $3 million through crowdfunding campaigns, and I've produced content alongside names like Jay Shetty and Brendon Burchard. One of my proudest projects is a skateboarding nonprofit documentary featuring Tony Hawk.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me surfing, traveling with my wife, or in the gym.
